Also, bear in mind that I am using this mod on the Steam version of the game, so, mileage may vary. With the compatibility mode mention earlier, just experiment with various settings to see which brings up the proper dialogue most frequently. Just alt-tab and the games mouse should show up. Though the desktop mouse may show instead of the game's mouse. The program may crash several times, but, when a window that says "the program has stopped working", with the option to either debug or close the program, move that window aside and there should be a window that says "do you want to play in safe mode" (or something to that effect). Then, with the iw4m2p.exe, set the compatibility mode to Windows 8 for now.
Then, optionally, take the bat file for version 20 and replace version 21's bat with that. Then take the contents of the source code folder for version 23 and install them inside version 21's source folder (probably best to delete the contents of that folder before installing the files). Well, first, you need to download versions 23, 21, and optionally 20.
